![]() “He’s a bad guy and he’s bad for my family, and I want nothing to do with him,” Rafael says which, as Jane points out, is an unfair point. Rafael doesn’t fully believe Mateo is entirely safe, though, and tells this to Jane when she breaks the news to him. “I was wrong,” Michael admits to Jane, “I just want to apologize and start fresh.” Michael is willing to do anything he can to ensure that he and Jane work out, which isn’t a surprise considering he painfully pushed them away to make sure Sin Rostro was captured (or, er, killed) so Mateo and Jane wouldn’t be in any danger. One of the big moments so far this season sprang from the tension between Rafael and Michael, who came to literal blows when Michael punched Rafael in the face - in front of Mateo. Of course, there will always be obstacles in the way of their happy ending - this is a telenovela-inspired sitcom, after all - including, but not limited to, the child that Jane (a virgin, remember) had with another man. They confessed to still being in love with each other, giving Jane another rosy romantic memory to hold dear. Last week’s episode of “Jane the Virgin,” ended on such a perfect note for Jane and Michael.
